This is a beautiful property that we purchased for an American client many years ago before Palermo Soho got popular. We knew the potential of the area. The developer had issues but we had to intervene and assist our client with keeping the developer honest. The build quality was not high end (as are many construction projects in Buenos Aires) so they wanted to totally renovate the apartment and invested in renovating it.
It turned out beautiful and is one of the most successful short-term rentals in the city. It has more than paid for itself over the years.
It is surreal to purchase a brand new construction and then have to gut it. Here are photos of the renovation process.
