This property was actually purchased by the Founder of our company.    His favorite neighborhood is Recoleta and he started buying up properties in Recoleta shortly after the "Corralito" (the devastating financial crash in Argentina in 2002).  

This property was abandoned for many years as the owner died and the property was in probate in a bitter dispute with the family members.  Due to its horrible condition, no one wanted to buy it.  That didn't stop him from buying it and starting renovation on it the same day he closed on it.

He gutted the property with a complete renovation and it was a very successful luxury short-term rental for over a decade.  The property paid for itself in rentals during the 12 years that it was owned.  It was sold near the peak of the real estate market.
